After several meetings/attempts and numerous sacrifices aimed at kicking off what was labeled as “the next big thing” for the web, I have come to the realization that Jim Collins (a renown best-selling author of the “Good-to-Great” book fame) was right about “Level 5″ leadership. My favorite quote from Collins’ works is: “First Who, then What“. I’m on a hunt for a Web 2.0+ savvy (aka. “kick-ass”) web designer/developer who has been baptized in the entrepreneurial waters of this eon.

I will like to form a strategic partnership with this kismet person; a partnership that begs to hand the “next big thing” to current and future web users of this era. If you don’t have a great idea in mind, don’t worry about it. Contrary to popular knowledge, I have learned that it is more important to get the right people “on the bus” than to find people who are a great fit for a pre-defined business purpose.

That notwithstanding, I want someone who can actually get some work done! Preferably, someone with great front-end development experience (ie. CSS, Javascript, Flash/Flex, etc.) who is also good at “thinking outside the box“. As much as I am capable of working beyond geographical boundaries, it will be nice to connect with someone who lives in the Greater Milwaukee WI area.

If you have what it takes and you are interested in further dialogue regarding this quest, contact me at: idehao{at}gmail.com or 920.312.8356 and let’s chat.

I am waiting for you!!!

Disclaimer: Though I am a firm believer in using the right tool for the right job, I am a huge proponent or quasi-evangelist of .NET solutions. I don’t expect you to be a seasoned .NET developer. However, it is important that you see eye-to-eye with my preferred development environment. I am open to using C++, LAMP, Python and Perl solutions where .NET falls short.

Note: This is for a web startup!
