GTalk is now available on the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Pretty slick! That’s what happens when you have way too much time on your hands (at least, temporarily) — you start playing with your phone and next thing you know, you are in the middle of all the gadget-goodness you’ve been missing!

How do you get to it? Simply go to www.google.com/talk.

One request though, can we get the emoticons (or symbols) to render appropriately on the iPhone version of GTalk? How come the GTalk version on the Blackberry has this feature and iPhoners don’t? What’s up with that picture? Google Mobile Team? Adobe? Somebody? Let’s get that in the next release. Please!!!
